## Two services, one path from leadership to assurance
Leadership & Assurance has two services: Virtual CIO Governance for ongoing technology leadership, budgeting, and vendor management, and Compliance, Continuity & Secure AI for framework readiness, disaster recovery, and AI governance.
- Virtual CIO (vCIO) governance Virtual CIO Governance gives you a senior technology leader on a monthly retainer. We build multi-year capital and operating budgets so technology spending follows a plan, and we manage your vendors and their service-level agreements, holding providers to what they promised. We also help leadership set technology priorities, so IT decisions reflect where the business is headed.
- Compliance, continuity & secure AI Compliance, Continuity & Secure AI builds on that leadership to prepare you for scrutiny. We assess your readiness against frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO, and CMMC and organize the policies and evidence you will need. We write disaster-recovery playbooks so you know how to restore operations after an outage, and we set governance for secure use of AI tools, including what data staff may and may not enter.

### What is a virtual CIO?
A virtual CIO, or vCIO, is a senior technology leader who works for your organization part-time. mccloudCo’s vCIO service gives you CIO-level planning, budgeting, and vendor oversight on a monthly retainer, without a full-time executive hire.
### What is the difference between Tier 4 and Tier 5?
Tier 4, Virtual CIO Governance, provides fractional CIO leadership, multi-year budgeting, and vendor and SLA management. Tier 5, Compliance, Continuity & Secure AI, adds compliance readiness, disaster-recovery playbooks, and secure-AI governance, with more monthly hours.
### Can you help us prepare for cyber insurance or a customer security review?
Yes. Improving security readiness and organizing evidence are part of this work, so you can answer insurer questionnaires and customer reviews with documentation. We prepare you for the review, but we cannot guarantee how an insurer or customer will decide.
### Do we still need a vCIO if we already have an IT provider? Popular
